Recollections By J.R. Cash - Childhood Memories of Johnny Cash, a heartfelt labor of Love by Johnny Cash to his youngest daughter Tara Cash Schwoebel is now available for purchase, published by Arkansas State University. Tara gave her father a journal with questions to answer each day. It's a heartwarming look at the love between a father and daughter that you won't want to put down till you finish. What a great idea! we all should do this with our parents before it's too late. Humorous at times, with pictures, and illustrations. I highly recommend "Recollections" to any Johnny Cash fan, in fact even to those who aren't fans. Tara kept this prize understandably to herself for many years, no doubt looking at it often, and living precious memories of her father, and his love for her. It's a spiral bound 112 page book, reprinted in Johnnys' own handwriting. You can get your' copy from Amazon, or recollectionsbyjrcash.com. Also available at the Johnny Cash museum in Nashville and the Dyess Community center where he was raised and his boyhood home was restored. This Cash fan gives it five stars. Thank you Tara for sharing this intimate look at a father/daughters love for each other. It's an essential part of any Cash collection. There are many books about him, my favorites are his two autobiographies "Cash", and "The Man In Black", and for completeness, The Robert Hilburn Book "Johnny Cash, The Life", and right at the top, now I'll include "Recollections" It doesn't get any better than this folks!http://www.amazon.com/NEW-Recollections-J-R-Cash-Childhood/dp/093067703X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1411308309&sr=8-1&keywords=tara+cash

Axe Handler guitar stand

As a proud owner of an "Axe-Handler", I have to say it's awesome beyond it's design. No more clumsy stands that could be knocked over, or get tangled in wires. Simply place the Axe-Handler on a flat surface high enough to support the neck of your' guitar. It cradles the guitar, and the special design on the bottom keeps it from slipping off (A dreaded fear of any player). I had my doubts at first, but after receiving mine in the mail, I'm totally convinced. Key points 1. fits in guitar case, or pocket, 2. Has a slot for extra guitar picks 3. Can be used nearly anywhere there's a flat surface, on top of amps, tables, you name it. 4. The quality of the item is ingenious, weighs more than you'd think, and durable as all get out, I can't imagine how you would damage one of these babies! 5. Great value, for the price, it's an incredible investment in the safety of your' instrument. 6. Great for the amateur or on stage player. 7. I've used it for months now, and numerous times children have bumped my guitar playing, and the Axe-Handler kept my guitar from bouncing (something you never want to hear)

Be sure to check out the "Strings Out" version as well, this, the original is designed for leaning the guitar with the strings facing "in" whereas the SO version is just that, strings out. Your' preference, both test well, and give you that peace of mind about your' guitar when unattended. Axe-Handler S/O Guitar Stand (Strings Out)
The ChordBuddy Guitar Learning system is an excellent package for would be guitarists, even folks who have tried and given up will be pleased at the ease, and simplicity of picking up a guitar, and being able to play right away. With four major chords, Em, C, G, and D all brought down to just pressing a button to make each Chord. The guitar, available separately was also a pleasant surprise, as most beginner guitars are difficult to play, with the strings being too far off the fret board, leading to sore fingers, not the case here, you can play with ease, and the sound is amazing compared to other guitars in the beginners range.

With included song books, instructional dvd, and clip on tuner, ChordBuddy will have you playing and singing standards right away. As your level of playing increases, you simply remove tabs from the Chordbuddy off of the guitar, till you're playing conventionally making the chords on your own. There is no age limit on learning how to play with the ChordBuddy, Travis Perry has made music easy for all ages to learn.

As an experienced musician, I learned the old fashioned way, mostly self taught, but would have been light years ahead had this been available to me way back when. There's even a Chord Buddy Jr for ages 4-8 for aspiring young guitarists.Give yourself the gift of music and order the Chord Buddy today! Click Here: The Chord Buddy
